Features

NWare

New Tally plugin

A new Tally plugin has been added in this version. It is located under Plugins / Peavey /

Control / Tools in the device tree. This device allows you to count the number of times a button

is clicked. Help is available via the Info button on the control surface.

NION

New Python libraries now included

The Python string.py and struct.so libraries are now included with this version.

Note: The nControl and nTouch 180++ firmware include a full set of Python libraries.

Enhancements

NWare

Defaults for project properties changed to improve performance

The defaults for new projects have been changed to improve performance on NioNodes. The

control frame rate is now 10 updates per second (changed from 30).

Updates to the NioNode AEC card tab

The AEC card tab has a number of enhancements in this version:

 New Adaption Halt button that disables the adaption filter for the channel.

 New NLP Threshold setting that specifies the threshold for an Expander device wired to

the AEC Out signal. For more information, see Threshold Level (for Expander device) in

the NWare Device Reference.

New AEC Input Clipping LED that indicates when the input level from the near end reaches an

internally set threshold and is automatically clipped.

Note: When clipping occurs, AEC performance will be impaired.

 The Echo Atten meter, which shows the level of attenuation of the echo part of the signal

(Echo Return Loss Enhancement - ERLE), has been updated. The range of the meter is

now -6 dB to +35dB.

 The AEC Input Routing Setup page has been removed and the physical inputs on the AEC

card (in.Analog flyoffs) are no longer hardwired to the out.to AEC flyoffs.
